Job summary

SMX seeks accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, troubleshoot issues, support business processes, and ensure system functionality meets client requirements.

Collaboration with functional teams and data migration/integration work are part of the role. Required are SQL/PLSQL skills, strong Oracle EBS knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience at 3 credit hours for 3 months of experience up to 36 credit hours.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, AME, plus Oracle EBS development tools and strong EBS architecture knowledge.
• Exposure to Oracle R12.2.x application schema and ability to create queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Exposure to creating technical documentation and Oracle APEX experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS custom solutions, reports, extensions, and workflows.
• Integration: build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems (XML Publisher/APIs).
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• System administration: perform system analysis, upgrades, and ensure performance, stability, and data integrity.
• Testing: perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed documentation for development processes and solutions.
