Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Senior Oracle EBS Database Administrator (DBA) to manage the Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) and its Oracle database, ensuring security, availability, and high performance across development, test, QA, and production environments.

You will lead patching, cloning, upgrades, RMAN backups, Data Guard, and integration support with a focus on 24x7 production support and compliance, collaborating with functional and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Eng or related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
• 3+ years supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments.
• Experience administering Oracle DB 19c+.
• Hands-on with EBS architecture, ADOP, cloning, RMAN, Data Guard, OEM, Linux.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle EBS R12.2 environments across Dev, Test, QA, and Production.
• Manage EBS services: concurrent managers, workflow, and web/app tiers.
• Monitor health and performance; proactively address issues.
• Support modules: Financials, SCM, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, Order Management.
• Install/upgrade/maintain Oracle DBs; backups, patching, security, and performance.
• Lead ADOP patching, cloning, upgrades, downtime coordination.
• Ensure RMAN backups, Data Guard, disaster recovery, and high availability.
