Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Backend DBA to manage Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.12 and supporting databases. The role focuses on stability, performance, security, patching, cloning, and DR/HA in alignment with UNIFI objectives.

You will patch, clone, tune, and monitor backend databases, administer schemas, and collaborate with EBS admins to ensure readiness for new customizations and code migrations in a large ERP environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years Oracle DBA experience, 5+ years supporting Oracle EBS R12.2.x.
• Deep knowledge of EBR/ADOP online patching, editioned objects, and patching cycles.
• Proficiency with RMAN, Data Guard, backup/recovery strategies, and HA/DR architectures.
• Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases supporting EBS 12.2.12, RAC/standalone environments.
• Perform patching, cloning, tuning, disaster recovery, and high availability tasks.
• Support EBS backend components, including schemas and workflows, and coordinate with EBS Admins for code migrations.
• Monitor database health, performance, and critical metrics; troubleshoot issues.
