Job summary

Altech Solutions is hiring a Senior Oracle EBS Consultant to support our FFRDC customer in the Los Angeles area. You will work within Enterprise IT Services on Oracle Discrete Manufacturing with a focus on Common Inventory, gathering requirements, fit-gap analyses, and advising on standard Oracle functionality.

Technically you will write and tune SQL/PL/SQL, build interfaces and data loaders, support customizations (Form Personalization, custom.pll), and produce design docs while assisting

Qualifications

• Two or more Common Inventory implementations delivered as part of ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle EBS R12.
• Deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP.
• Expert-level ODM/MRP inventory setup steps, profile options, and system parameters.
• Comprehensive understanding of the ODM lifecycle — BOM, Inventory, WIP, MRP, Purchasing, and Costing — and integration points.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and run fit-gap analyses across Oracle Discrete Manufacturing.
• Map current- and future-state workflows and recommend configuration changes.
• Write and tune SQL/PL/SQL, build interfaces, APIs, and data loaders; support Form Personalization and custom.pll.

Senior Oracle EBS Consultant – Discrete Manufacturing & Inventory (ODM/MRP)

Altech Solutions is hiring a Senior Oracle EBS Consultant to support our FFRDC customer in the Los Angeles area.

$85–$118/hr W-2 · Excellent benefits · Full time

What you'll do:

You'll work inside the Enterprise IT Services group across Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, with a primary focus on the Common Inventory implementation. Partnering with the Lead Enterprise Systems Analyst, you'll gather requirements, run fit-gap analyses, map current- and future-state workflows, and recommend configuration changes that push work back toward standard Oracle functionality. On the technical side you'll write and tune SQL and PL/SQL, build and retrofit interfaces, APIs, and data loaders, support custom extensions including Form Personalization and custom.pll, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues through resolution. You'll produce the functional and technical design documentation, support testing and user training, and report status bi-weekly.

What we need:

• Two or more Common Inventory implementations delivered as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle EBS R12
• Deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP
• Expert-level command of ODM/MRP inventory setup steps, profile options, and system parameters
• Comprehensive understanding of the ODM lifecycle — BOM, Inventory, WIP, MRP, Purchasing, and Costing — and the upstream and downstream integration points between them
• Proven ability to map and fit complex as-is business processes into standard EBS functionality
• Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Form Personalization, custom.pll, and BI Publisher reporting
• Familiarity with REST APIs; JIRA, GitHub, Purchasing ASL functionality, and mobile supply chain all a plus
• US citizenship or lawful permanent residence (green card) is required.
• This role is 100% on-site in Los Angeles on a 9/80 schedule. There is no relocation assistance and no remote or hybrid option.
