Job summary

M&S Consulting is seeking a skilled Oracle EBS functional expert in Pasadena, CA to lead requirements, design, and configuration for ODM/MRP- and inventory-focused initiatives. You will map current and future processes, align with stakeholders, and support testing and training to ensure smooth implementations.

The role emphasizes deep knowledge of Oracle EBS R12.x, inventory structures, and end-to-end lifecycle, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.2.x eBS experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering two or more full cycle Common Inventory implementations within ODM/MRP in Oracle EBS R12.13.x.
• Deep knowledge of inventory data structures and controls including item master integrity, sub inventories, locators, UOM conversions, lot/serial control, and on-hand balance accuracy.
• Experience with project-based and multi-org inventory models and impacts on costing, planning, and financial reporting.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end ODM lifecycle: Inventory, BOM, WIP, MRP, MPS, Purchasing, Costing.
• Strong integration knowledge across Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, and Project Accounting.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong business analysis skills including process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Ability to present functional options and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with ESA leads and business stakeholders to review, refine, and document business requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and deliver clear, actionable solution options.
• Map and document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Recommend Oracle eBS configuration updates that best support future operational needs.
• Support functional design development and ensure alignment with approved requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process and system changes.
• Support functional testing and user training activities.
• Document functional designs, workflows, and any approved enhancements or process adjustments.
• Assist in resolving functional issues and guiding stakeholders through incident closure.
• Provide bi-weekly functional status reporting.
