Job summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA to manage Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database environments in California. The role focuses on EBS administration, performance tuning, patching, cloning, backups, and production support.

You will work with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, WebLogic, and related components; contribute to DR planning, on-call support, and cross-team releases. Strong Linux/Unix skills and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Oracle Apps DBA / Oracle EBS DBA.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c or later.
• Experience with ADOP, AutoConfig, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
• Familiarity with RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, Workflow, Forms, and Reports.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle E-Business Suite environments.
• Patch, upgrade, clone, and refresh across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.
• Administer Oracle Databases: backup, recovery, monitoring, tuning.
• Manage Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, Forms, Reports, and workflow services.
• Monitor performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Perform RMAN backup/recovery, DR, and high availability support.
• Manage users, roles, privileges, security, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot production issues across database and application tiers.
