Job summary

StaffXpert LLC is seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA to manage Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database environments in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will handle patching, upgrades, cloning, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and production support across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.

Required are 12+ years of experience, strong Oracle EBS/DBA skills, and expertise with RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, and WebLogic.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience as Oracle Apps/DBA.
• Hands-on with Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 and Oracle DB 12c/19c+.
• Proficient in patching, cloning, upgrades, RMAN, RAC, Data Guard.
• Strong WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, Forms/Reports, and Linux/Unix skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and production support abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle EBS environments.
• Patch, upgrade, clone, and refresh DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD environments.
• Administer Oracle Databases: backup, recovery, monitoring, tuning.
• Manage WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Forms, Reports, and workflows.
• Monitor performance, resolve production issues, and ensure high availability.
• Perform RMAN backups/recovery, DR, and on-call production support.
• Manage users, roles, security, and access controls.
• Collaborate with development/functional teams during releases.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA to manage, support, upgrade, patch, monitor, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle EBS administration, database performance tuning, cloning, patching, backup/recovery, and production support.

Required Skills

• Must have more than 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience as an Oracle Apps DBA / Oracle EBS DBA.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 / R12.2.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c or later.
• Experience with ADOP, AutoConfig, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
• Strong experience with RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, Workflow, Forms, and Reports.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.
• Experience supporting high-availability and production Oracle environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating Oracle EBS or databases to cloud environments.
• Experience with automation, monitoring tools, and DevOps practices.
• Relevant Oracle certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.
• Perform patching, upgrades, cloning, and environment refreshes across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Administer and support Oracle Databases, including backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Manage Oracle WebLogic, Concurrent Managers, Forms, Reports, Workflow, and application services.
• Monitor database and application performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Perform RMAN backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability support.
• Manage users, roles, privileges, security, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to database, application tier, interfaces, and batch jobs.
• Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Work with development and functional teams during releases, deployments, and production migrations.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
• Participate in on-call and production support activities as required.
