Job summary

SMX is seeking an accomplished Senior Business Analyst to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and configure Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions. The role involves designing and implementing system solutions, providing functional support, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and align the system with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust required or sponsor dependent
• Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, CLM
• Deep understanding of accounting and LOA configuration
• Create queries and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design
• Bachelor's degree in business or IT; postgraduate study may substitute for experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Experience creating and maintaining training documentation

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for Oracle EBS features and configurations
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and design system solutions
• Configure Oracle EBS modules to meet requirements and support projects
• Create test plans and perform functional testing including UAT
• Provide ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of solutions
• Analyze business processes and identify Oracle EBS improvement opportunities
• Develop system and user documentation and deliver training to users
