Overview

Our client is looking for a Senior IT Systems Analyst to support Oracle eBusiness Suite (on-prem R12.2.10). This role works with minimal supervision and provides functional application support for customizations and extensions within Finance and Oracle Projects modules. The analyst will partner closely with business users, participate in change management activities, and help ensure strong service delivery and user satisfaction as part of a larger Oracle support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and limited technical support for Oracle eBusiness Suite modules, including Finance (AR, AP, GL, CM, FA, iExpense, iSupplier) and Projects (Costing, Billing, Accounting)
• Serve as a customer-facing resource, clearly communicating issues, solutions, and system behavior
• Distinguish between standard functionality and customizations; investigate issues using data-driven analysis
• Troubleshoot system problems, identify root causes, and recommend workarounds or corrective actions
• Use diagnostic scripts, SQL, and query tools to analyze and extract data for ad hoc reporting
• Develop data correction scripts to resolve defects caused by data inconsistencies
• Support conference room pilots and user acceptance testing to validate fixes and enhancements
• Complete required Change Management and SOX control activities (as applicable)
• Apply established project management practices throughout the project lifecycle
• Continuously build business and technical knowledge through available learning resources
• Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management as needed

Skills Required

• 5–7 years of experience supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite modules (Finance and/or Projects preferred)
• Strong understanding of data flow between subledgers and the General Ledger
• Ability to review programming logic used in Workflow, Oracle Apex, and BI Publisher
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SQL and PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of EBS data model and architecture for Finance and Projects
• 3+ years of Oracle Apex programming experience preferred
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi-developer team environment preferred
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) preferred
• Ability to explain application behavior and system changes in business-friendly language

Education / Training / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of related industry experience

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel up to 10%
