Kforce Inc. is hiring a Senior Oracle DBA for a 100% remote role. The candidate will manage large-scale Oracle databases in a healthcare-related environment, focusing on reliability, performance, and security across enterprise applications.

Responsibilities include provisioning, upgrades, backups, DR, and incident resolution, with collaboration across engineering teams. The role demands deep Oracle expertise, including RAC, Data Guard, and cloud considerations with OCI, to maintain production

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience administering Oracle databases.
• Experience with large-scale, production Oracle environments.
• Direct experience with 30+ TB databases.
• RAC and Data Guard high-availability experience.
• OCI experience and cloud database familiarity.
• Strong PL/SQL/SQL troubleshooting and tuning.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support large-scale production Oracle databases.
• Manage provisioning, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle tasks.
• Maintain high availability and disaster recovery (RAC/Data Guard).
• Perform backup, restore, and validation activities.
• Monitor health, capacity, and performance; tune SQL as needed.
• Support releases, deployments, and database changes.
• Implement and enforce database security controls.
