Government Technical Services Corporation seeks a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to manage on‑prem Oracle databases, including backup, recovery, performance tuning, and updates. You will work with NSPIRES-related systems, and support teams in an on‑site/remote hybrid setup in Arlington, VA.

The role requires 10 years general experience with 5 years Oracle on‑prem DBMS, Oracle 19G, RMAN, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, plus scripting in Perl/SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or related field.
• 10 years of general experience, including 5 years Oracle on-premises DBMS.
• Experience with Oracle 19G, RMAN, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day database administration tasks for Oracle databases.
• Backup, restore, and recover databases using RMAN.
• Monitor and tune database performance and resolve incidents per SLAs.
• Upgrade databases and manage storage, users, and security.
• Write scripts in Perl and SQL; work with Linux OS.
