Job summary

Quevera seeks a Senior Oracle Database Engineer - PL/SQL in Annapolis Junction, Maryland to develop, troubleshoot, and support enterprise-scale Oracle database applications with a focus on hands-on SQL and PL/SQL development, production debugging, script remediation, and data integration endpoints.

You will collaborate with developers, DBAs, analysts, and infrastructure teams to optimize workloads and support deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing and supporting Oracle database solutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, dynamic SQL).
• Experience debugging and optimizing complex SQL/PL/SQL in production environments.
• Experience with data feeds, integrations, and ETL workflows using NiFi, AWS, APIs, and file transfers.
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Data Guard, security, monitoring, and recovery procedures.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve complex SQL, PL/SQL, and production data issues.
• Review, rewrite, and optimize SQL/PL/SQL scripts.
• Develop ad hoc queries to support investigations and data reconciliation.
• Maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Monitor and maintain data feeds across NiFi, AWS endpoints, and APIs.
• Coordinate issue resolution across DBAs, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Support deployments, incidents, and post-deployment validation.
• Tune SQL/PL/SQL for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with DBAs on database configuration and security.
