Job summary

Darkwolfsolutions is seeking a passionate Database Engineer to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle database systems while ensuring high performance and security.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a minimum of 10 years of DoD-related experience, and a TS/SCI security clearance. This is a full-time position requiring onsite support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in support of the DoD.
• Strong knowledge and experience implementing the DoD Systems Engineering 'V' Model.
• Certifications: Security+ or Security+ CE.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle database systems.
• Troubleshooting database-related issues and managing user access.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

Skills

Experience working with Ansible playbooks

Automation coding using Python

Strong knowledge of DoD and AF acquisition processes

Experience supporting Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Completing Oracle updates and patches

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
