Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Database Engineer to design, develop, and maintain database applications within the product suite. Focus on performance tuning for large data sets and AI-assisted development tools.

Collaborate with senior developers, offshore teams, business owners, and management to deliver high-performing software. You will drive architecture, evaluate new technologies, and optimize CI pipelines.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise software design and development using Oracle.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with advanced Oracle features such as BULK Collection.
Proficiency in Database Development and Performance tuning in Oracle RDBMS, including PL/SQL tuning on large data sets.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate PL/SQL development.

Responsibilities

Design and develop software applications from product vision to implementation.
Provide critical thinking to create innovative solutions to business problems.
Drive application design through global teams to deliver value faster.
Evaluate new technologies and provide roadmap-relevant recommendations.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to align architecture and infrastructure needs.
Design, support, and enhance product codebase and CI pipelines.
Investigate and resolve performance and stability issues in production.
