Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Principal Database & Analytics Engineer to lead the design, build and support of data platforms and analytics solutions across the firm. You will drive performance, security and scalability while collaborating with product owners and engineers to modernize legacy systems.

You will implement data governance, ETL processes and reporting capabilities, with Power BI and Fabric to unlock insights.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in SQL Server and database engineering.

Strong knowledge of relational data modeling and normalization.
Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and cloud integrations.
Experience delivering data-driven solutions with Power BI and Fabric.

Responsibilities

We are on a business systems modernization journey and you will design, build and support data and application solutions that drive measurable business value.
Lead engineering, optimization and continuous improvement of the database estate with security and resilience at the core.
Partner with Product Owners, Engineers and stakeholders to modernize legacy solutions and enable cloud-ready platforms.
Design and deliver reporting, analytics and data products to improve decision making.
Build and support business-critical applications integrating data, automation and user experiences.
Act as a technical authority for database and analytics engineering and mentor peers.
Provide proof of concepts and hands-on delivery to achieve great outcomes.
