Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior Database Engineer specialized in Oracle to design, develop, and maintain database applications within our product suite. You will collaborate with senior developers and global teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in Oracle-driven enterprise software, healthcare data experience, and strong SDLC/Agile Scrum exposure. Base pay ranges with discretionary bonus; remote work is supported across the US.

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise software design and development using Oracle.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
5+ years of healthcare data expertise and healthcare domain knowledge.
Hands-on experience with advanced Oracle features such as BULK Collection.
Demonstrated proficiency in Database Development and Performance tuning in Oracle RDBMS.
Understanding of prevalent Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies with specific exposure or participation in Agile Scrum techniques preferred.
CI servers configuration (Hudson/Jenkins/Bamboo). CI/CD implementation.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of software applications from product vision to implementation.
Provide critical thinking to develop creative and innovative solutions to the business problems.
Drive Application design through global teams to build applications that drive significant business value faster.
Evaluate new technologies, external products, and designs for their applicability to roadmap requirements and make recommendations.
Consult with infrastructure teams to fit infrastructure to architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate infrastructure needs.
Design, support, and continuously enhance product code base, continuous integration pipeline, etc.
Investigation and resolution of performance and stability issues in production systems.
Collaboration with a globally distributed team.
Work inside the team of software and DevOps engineers.
Identify opportunities for improvements in scalability, performance, security, and serviceability.
Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
