Job summary

XTIVIA, Inc. seeks a senior Oracle Database Architecture Engineer to lead POC validation and migration execution for a Data Modernization program. You will configure 2-node RAC with ASM and Data Guard across multi-site data centers, ensuring near-zero downtime during cutover.

Requires 15+ years of Oracle DB administration, deep knowledge of Oracle 19c, GoldenGate, and NERC CIP security controls. This is a deeply hands-on, on-site role with hybrid elements during planning phases.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise Oracle Database Administration and Architecture experience.
• Oracle Database 19c OCP certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical and logical configuration of the target Oracle Database platform (RAC, ASM, Data Guard) during the initial POC.
• Design and execute data migration strategies with minimal maintenance windows.
• Develop runbooks, rollback procedures, and cutover checklists for production migrations.
