Job summary

XTIVIA is seeking a senior Oracle Database Architecture Engineer to lead the technical validation, architecture design, POC, and migration execution for a Data Modernization and Platform Refresh program in Taylor, TX. You will benchmark high-availability configurations, configure 2-node RAC with ASM and Active Data Guard across multiple data centers, and drive near-zero downtime migrations.

The role is hands-on, with no management duties, and requires 15+ years of Oracle experience, OCP

Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise Oracle Database Administration and Architecture experience.
• Oracle 19c and OCP certification required.
• Deep experience with Grid Infrastructure, 2-node RAC, ASM, Active Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, and multi-site DR.
• Hands-on with GoldenGate 21c Microservices and data movement.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation, architecture design, POC, and migration execution.
• Benchmark HA architectures and configure 2-node RAC with ASM and ADG across multi-site data centers.
• Serve as lead field engineer, implementing solution and migrations with a DBA team.
