Job summary

TheCorporate LLC in Oakland, CA is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Oracle databases. You will drive high availability using RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate, while guiding modernization efforts and automation across platforms.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience, deep expertise in performance tuning, large migrations, SQL/PL/ Shell scripting, and IaC with Ansible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 10 years of Oracle DBA experience in large enterprise environments.
• Extensive hands-on Oracle 19c including RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, GoldenGate 26ai, RMAN, OEM.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning, SQL/PLSQL, scripting, and large migrations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Grid Infrastructure, RAC, ASM, and Clusterware.
• Design highly available Oracle architectures using RAC and Data Guard.
• Perform provisioning, patching, cloning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Design and maintain Data Guard configurations and migrations.
• Execute advanced performance tuning at multiple levels (database, SQL, RAC, OS).
• Optimize SQL, partitioning, and workload management; troubleshoot RAC issues.
• Manage schema upgrades and cross-environment data synchronization.
• Data conversions, re-platforming, and secure data transfers (TTS, Data Pump).
• Design and maintain GoldenGate 26AI microservices architecture and components.
• Develop and maintain IaC and automation with Ansible; automate deployments/maintenance.
• Support UC4 workload automation where applicable.
