Job summary

Trigyn Technologies Limited is seeking a senior Oracle DBA to write PL/SQL queries and develop migration scripts moving changes from Development to QA and Production. You will compare databases across environments, tune performance, and implement data exchanges with the Statewide Financial System (SFS).

You will assist developers, translate business requirements into technical models, and ensure secure handling of PHI within healthcare data in a government-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations and applications.
• Provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.
• Ability to guide large teams and/or has extensive industry experience.
• 36 months experience upgrading legacy Oracle databases and splitting schemas into separate instances.
• 84 months experience Oracle performance tuning with indexing and partition strategies.
• 84 months experience with Oracle database design, PL/SQL coding, and related objects.
• 84 months experience maintaining Oracle PHI data in healthcare environments.
• 84 months experience handling government financial data (budgets, encumbrances, payments).
• 84 months experience maintaining Medicare D billing systems including NCPDP transactions.
• 60 months experience designing data interfaces to PeopleSoft financial systems.
• 60 months experience on cost reporting applications for Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Write queries in PL/SQL and develop scripts to migrate database changes to QA/Production.
• Develop automation scripts for support and maintenance.
• Compare databases across Development, QA, and Production for differences and harmonize structures.
• Troubleshoot and tune database queries for performance improvements.
• Develop and troubleshoot processes exchanging data with SFS and other systems.
• Implement workarounds on the database side while applications are fixed.
• Assist other developers on database related items.
• Interact with business users to translate requirements into technical models.
