Job summary

SafePaaS, based in Washington, DC, is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead and protect our mission‑critical data platforms. You’ll own Oracle databases, implement Data Guard, RAC, RMAN, and performance tuning to keep systems robust and responsive.

You’ll collaborate with developers andOps to deploy secure, scalable solutions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Fusion Cloud ERP, PeopleSoft, EBS R12, and JDE, while auditing and enforcing data‑security standards.

Qualifications

• Senior DBA with deep Oracle expertise including Data Guard, RMAN, RAC, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle security/auditing.
• Proficient in monitoring, backup strategies, and RMAN disaster recovery tests.
• Familiarity with Fusion Cloud ERP, PeopleSoft, EBS R12, JDE, and Oracle APEX.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain robust, secure data infrastructure for mission‑critical systems.
• Collaborate with developers to implement high‑quality database changes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using OEM, AWR, ADDM, and ASH.
• Lead on‑call rotations, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises.
