Job summary

Syntax is seeking a Senior Oracle Apps DBA to manage Oracle EBS environments, patching, backups, and performance tuning. The role supports multi-node EBS with Concurrent Managers, workflows, and SOA/OBIEE integrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong cloud computing background (OCI/AWS) and hands-on experience across Linux, RMAN, Data Guard, and OEM Grid Control to ensure high availability and disaster recovery for ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle Apps DBA experience.
• Expert level knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 administration and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Performs Oracle EBS DBA tasks including patching, backup strategies, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Manage multi-node EBS environment with Concurrent Managers, Programs, Workflows, and notifications.
• Administer SOA Suite, OBIEE, WebLogic Server for ERP integrations.
• Develop SOPs for installation and high availability/disaster recovery.
