Job summary

Cheniere Energy seeks a Senior Database Administrator (Oracle Applications) to lead install, admin, upgrade, and performance tuning of Oracle databases and apps. You will support development, test, and production environments, perform patches and migrations, and document configurations and standards.

The role requires 5+ years in Oracle Applications DBA, Oracle E‑Business Suite experience, and strong knowledge of RMAN, Linux, and Oracle Web/SSO tooling. Evening/on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline; equivalent training considered.
• Minimum five years as an Oracle Applications DBA with a proven track record.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12).
• Experience cloning R12 instances and applying patches for Apps modules.
• Familiarity with Oracle web server, Form server, Concurrent processing server, and Apache.
• Knowledge of Oracle Access Management, Identity Management, and SSO.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, upgrade, migrate and tune Oracle Databases and Applications releases.
• Manage multiple Dev, Test and Production Oracle environments and perform code migrations.
• Provide documentation on database systems, configurations, and standards.
• Support 24/7 applications with backup and recovery best practices.
• Collaborate with IT application teams to meet database requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional nights/weekends.
