Job summary

Stanford University’s University Information Technology (UIT) seeks an experienced Oracle Software Developer to join the FSMM group within Enterprise Technology. The role focuses on development and maintenance of custom Oracle-based applications, leveraging Oracle APEX, JavaScript, Web Services, and Oracle database development to support enterprise functions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with analysts, QA, and operations to deploy secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize design, implement, and develop solutions for complex system/programs independently.
Work with a variety of users to gain information and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users.
Document system builds and application configurations; maintain and update documentation as needed.
Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and implementation work.
Lead projects of moderate complexity when needed.
Serve as a technical resource for applications.
Evaluate and integrate new features and technologies into the computing environment.
Follow team software development methodology.
Mentor lower level software developers.
