DRW, a Chicago-based trading firm, is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and support Oracle APEX applications. You will work with end-users to define specifications and build secure, scalable solutions for internal teams, leveraging SQL, PL/SQL, and APEX in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development experience.
• 3+ years Oracle PL/SQL experience.
• 3+ years Oracle APEX experience.
• Experience with data modeling.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Scripting language experience (shell scripting, python, node, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with end-users to define specifications and develop software solutions.
• Work in a complex and non-routine environment requiring advanced technical/business skills.
• Maintain and support existing Oracle systems and various integrations to other third-party systems.
• Participate in the improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize APEX applications for performance.
• Write clear technical documentation for developed applications, processes, and APIs.
