Job summary

DRW, a Chicago-based trading firm, designs, develops, and supports Oracle-based software solutions for internal teams using Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL. The role emphasizes collaboration with end-users, performance tuning, and maintaining complex integrations across multiple systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in application development and strong Oracle PL/SQL and APEX experience, plus familiarity with data modeling, Git, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of application development experience.
• 3+ years Oracle PL/SQL.
• 3+ years Oracle APEX experience.
• Experience with data modeling.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Scripting language experience (shell scripting, python, node, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with end-users to define specifications and develop software solutions.
• Work in a complex and non-routine environment requiring advanced technical/business skills.
• Maintain and support existing Oracle systems and various integrations to other third‑party systems.
• Participate in the improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize APEX applications for performance.
• Write clear technical documentation for developed applications, processes, and APIs.
