Job summary

The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services in St Paul, MN seeks a Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer (DOQ) to plan technical analyses, collaborate, and administer programs and projects in the Wastewater Planning and Community Programs team, with cross-functional work in the Water Resources and Water Supply Planning teams. This position offers hybrid remote/on-site telework.

Salary ranges: Senior Engineer $88,566-$143,707; Principal Engineer $95,805-$155,397.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• FE exam completed or PE registration in Minnesota or a state with reciprocity.
• Four years of related engineering experience or more.

Responsibilities

• Plan technical analyses and administer programs and projects in the Wastewater Planning and Community Programs team.
• Collaborate across the Council's Water Resources and Water Supply Planning teams and participate in cross-functional projects.

• Bachelor's degreein engineering or directly related discipline AND Four years of relatedexperience as an engineer AND Successful completion of the Fundamentals ofEngineering Exam (FE) or Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the stateof Minnesota or a state with reciprocity.

PrincipalEngineer - Salary: $95,805- $155,397annually

• Bachelor's degreein engineering or directly related discipline AND Five years of relatedexperience as an engineer AND Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the stateof Minnesota or a state with reciprocity.
