Job summary

Northside Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Nursing leader to oversee the daily operations of the Surgical Services Operating Rooms in a demanding perioperative environment.

The role requires independent judgment in budgets, personnel, patient services and program administration, with 24-hour accountability and cross-functional coordination. Qualified candidates have 5+ years intraoperative nursing experience and at least two years of supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with 5+ years intraoperative nursing experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration.
• Preferred: CNOR certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Surgical Services Operating Rooms.
• Apply management principles to the perioperative discipline.
• Exercise independent judgment in budget, personnel, patient services and programs.
• Maintain 24-hour accountability and coordinate communications, training, and administrative activities for intraoperative cost centers.
