Lockheed Martin is seeking an Opto-Mechanical Staff Engineer to support development and production of an IRST sensor system. You will own precision opto-mechanical hardware from definition through release, guiding alignment, tolerancing, and integration with manufacturing and suppliers.

The role requires a bachelor's in mechanical, aerospace, or optical engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, CAD in CREO, Windchill, and GD&T expertise. U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Precision opto-mechanical experience or equivalent.
• Experience with optical testing and metrology.

Responsabilidades

• Own requirements, design definition, and drawing release through verification.
• Lead optical alignment, tolerancing, and manufacturability decisions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers on interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership across optical, mechanical, electrical, and QA teams.
