  • Experience with CAD systems, preferably CREO and Windchill.
  • Experience with developing engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100.
  • Experience generating and interpreting geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
  • Experience with optical hardware testing and metrology, preferably interferometry.
  • Needs ability to obtain/maintain a secret clearance. US citizenship required.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, and transitioning precision opto-mechanical hardware for EO/IR sensors or other demanding infrared systems, especially in a production environment.
  • Experience aligning optical elements within mechanical structures and performing opto-mechanical tolerance analyses.
  • Experience with mechanism design, design for fabrication, cast components, or metal additive manufacturing.
  • Experience with production nonconformance review board (MRB) disposition and root-cause-based corrective action.
