Job summary

Optiver, a leading global market-maker, seeks an experienced Options Market Maker to lead our presence on U.S. options exchange trading floors.

You’ll be the primary link between our electronic desks, floor brokers, DPM/LMM communities, and exchange personnel—driving liquidity, execution quality, and market structure opportunities across venues. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, a deep understanding of financial instruments and markets, strong math skills, and 3+ years in options

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments, trading exchanges and markets.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.
• Excellent communicator and team player.
• Strong relationship-building with traders, brokers, and exchange personnel.
• 3+ years in options trading, market making, floor brokerage, or exchange operations.

Responsibilities

• Make markets in eligible equity, ETF, and index options.
• Represent Optiver across options exchanges; build relationships with floor brokers, DPMs/LMMs, and exchange officials.
• Track exchange rule changes, fees, and incentive programs.
• Partner with electronic traders to optimize quoting and execution quality.
• Facilitate large or complex executions; monitor floor KPIs, fill rates and market share across venues.
• Ensure compliance with exchange rules and regulatory requirements.
