Belvedere Trading is a leading proprietary trading firm based in Chicago seeking an Experienced EquityOptions Trader to own strategy, risk, and performance across Equity options groups. You’ll work with traders and technologists to advance trading systems and stay ahead in a fast-paced market.

You’ll bring a strong market intuition, a quantitative mindset, and a team-first approach to solve complex problems together while focusing on profitability and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years trading single-stock options, index options, or ETF options, ideally in a market‑making setting.
• Strong track record of generatingPnL, managing risk, and executing strategies in fast-moving markets.
• Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility dynamics, and market microstructure.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools, with the ability to work with large datasets and build analytical or modeling frameworks.
• Ability to thoughtfully approach decision-making, thrive underpressureand adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Execute trades in a fast-paced environment with precision and profitability.
• Excel in market-making on a collaborative team and provide liquidity across markets while managing risk.
• Design and implement trading strategies with the team.
• Provide analytics & insights to analyze market data and identify trends, mispricing, opportunities.
• Develop tools to analyze opportunities, evaluate risk, and improve options liquidity.
• Collaborate with technologists, quants, and traders to systematize models and strategies.
• Ensure risk management by monitoring and managing positions within risk limits.
