Job summary
The Toro Company, headquartered in Bloomington, MN, seeks a senior technical leader and hands-on developer to architect and evolve Optimizely Commerce solutions across our eBusiness portfolio. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality commerce experiences across on-premises and hybrid deployments.
Qualifications include 7+ years in software development, 5+ years with an enterprise eCommerce platform (Optimizely preferred), and a track record of leading architecture
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 7+ years of overall software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with an enterprise eCommerce platform; Optimizely Commerce strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical design and architecture for eCommerce solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Optimizely Commerce solutions, including new feature development and platform enhancements.
- Serve as the technical authority for Optimizely Commerce architecture decisions and establish standards for development, integration, and deployment.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, perform code reviews, and foster knowledge sharing.
- Partner with product owners through the full development lifecycle from definition to delivery, testing and support.
- Design and develop integrations between Optimizely Commerce and ERP/CRM/PIM systems and payment gateways.
- Produce clear technical documentation for design, integration specs, and procedures.
- Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and automation to increase stability and delivery efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and platform capabilities relevant to eCommerce.
