Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a seasoned Program Manager in the Specialty Materials segment to lead cross-functional teams and work with customers to execute programs meeting market needs in optical technologies.

Responsibilities include defining program plans, managing scope and risk, and building compelling business cases to improve the product's value proposition while ensuring manufacturing readiness and IP protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences required or equivalent.
• 10+ years’ experience with Project Management / Leadership.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams in execution of programs.
• Proven technical aptitude and ability to communicate updates.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an overall program plan with resources and budget.
• Manage changes in scope and align the program with customer needs.
• Set program messages and communicate progress to leadership and teams.
• Develop and lead business cases and value propositions for products.
• Identify IP protection strategies and ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
• Leverage Corning's innovation process to direct program activities.
