• Strong knowledge of controls and optical systems; ability to define system-level requirements and translate them into actionable subsystem specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative optical solutions related to optical communications, remote sensing, and tracking.
• Define system-level requirements and translate to subsystem and control requirements.
• Design and validate control laws, filters, and estimators on hardware with MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, and test teams from concept through validation.
• Support field testing and production transition; perform troubleshooting and test procedure development.
