Job summary

General Atomics is seeking a Senior CAD Designer to lead design solutions for structural components in high-precision aerospace applications. You will work with engineering teams to deliver compliant, manufacturable designs using CAD tools and rigorous documentation.

Required are an associate degree or certificate with 13+ years in CAD, strong knowledge of SolidWorks and other design software, and the ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance. Hybrid exposure may be involved.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate with 13+ years' CAD experience.
• Understanding of ASME Y14.5 drawing principles and CAD software.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in evolving environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
