Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through eyewear choices with expert knowledge and friendly service.

The role requires a background in optics, with 12 months of optical experience or ABO certification, and compliance with state license requirements where applicable. This position emphasizes sales goals, product expertise, and in-store leadership.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other).
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician license requirements per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients size for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training to ensure Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support store goals including opening/closing in LEAD roles.
