Job summary

Visionworks in Wisconsin is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through eyewear decisions with a friendly, human approach. The role requires optical knowledge, the ability to meet daily sales goals, and a commitment to ensuring every patient has a Right the First Time experience.

12 months optical experience preferred or ABO certification. Must meet state license requirements and stay current with eyewear training and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store goals, including opening/closing in LEAD positions.
