Job summary

Visionworks in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through the Visionworks journey with knowledge of optics and services. Prior optical experience is expected or ABO certification as applicable.

The role emphasizes meeting daily sales goals, training in product knowledge, and delivering a simple, human eyewear experience. Licensure requirements are maintained per state guidelines where required.

Qualifications

12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other org) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
HS diploma or GED or equivalent related job experience.
Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through ongoing training.
Support store operations to meet financial and customer experience goals, including opening/closing in Lead positions.
