Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s or master’s in engineering or related technical discipline
• Two+ years engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree; equivalent experience acceptable
• Experience with system-level integration and testing of hardware or embedded systems
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and data handling
• Ability to read C code for diagnostics and interface verification
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and lab/test environments
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies for payload verification and environmental tests
• Lead cross-discipline coordination among optical, electrical, software, and systems teams
• Develop and maintain automated test infrastructure and Python-based frameworks
• Verify embedded code behavior via hardware-in-the-loop tests
• Perform electrical and software integration of payload components and interfaces
• Oversee operation of optical test equipment and data analysis workflows
• Document procedures, configurations, and results per processes
• Support anomaly investigation and corrective actions during campaigns
• Mentor junior engineers and test operators
