Job summary

Requires a minimum BS in relevant engineering, 5+ years of experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Excel. ITAR compliance and potential advanced degrees are valued as added qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Material Science, Physical, Electrical, or Optical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interaction skills.
• Analytical thinker; detail oriented; problem solver.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Office.
• Experience in Thin Film Deposition, vacuum processes, and optics.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement optical interference filters meeting customer requirements in various applications.
• Develop and/or improve materials and processes for manufacturing of optical coatings.
• Interact with customers to understand requirements and deliver coatings meeting needs in a timely manner.
• Engage in post-coating optical metrology and vacuum-based coating processes.
