Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor for 1st shift to lead daily warehouse activities, manage staff, and drive safety and efficiency.

You’ll establish schedules, train team members, and foster strong relationships with customers and partners in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 3+ years in operations, plus experience with MS Office and scanner equipment, and a bachelor’s or equivalent in logistics or related fields.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or 3PL experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish work schedules, assign jobs and train staff.
• Guide, counsel and encourage employees; improve potential and champion high standards.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with onsite customers and other key partners.
• Provide a safe and secure work environment through training and safety inspections.
• Assist with evaluating employee performance, providing written and verbal feedback.
• Implement and carry out all company policies, procedures and standards.
