Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services seeks a Senior Operations Management Trainee to join an accelerated leadership program with nationwide travel. You will rotate through plasma centers, gain hands‑on leadership experience, and prepare for a Plasma Center Operations Manager role.

Expect mentorship, team development, and cross‑center networking. A first‑phase six‑month training leads to a year of progress toward management, with relocation upon program completion and a strong emphasis on donor care and

Qualifications

• Relocation required after graduation/completion of Trainee Program.
• 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
• Up to 90-100% travel during the Trainee Program.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to travel and work at various BioLife locations nationwide.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license for the duration of the program.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Glove wear due to potential bloodborne pathogens exposure (risk level 1).

Responsibilities

• Lead expedited six‑month training with 12 months to obtain a Plasma Center Manager role.
• Mentor and develop a diverse team; conduct performance reviews and staff planning.
• Engage in recruiting, onboarding, and retention activities across centers.
• Progress toward Plasma Center Operations Manager by building cross‑center relationships.
• Provide operational support, problem‑solving, and escalate to senior management.
• Ensure donor service excellence and, when needed, assist with production.
• Travel to BioLife centers nationwide to learn and network.
