Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Ops Engineer for Rapid and Rural Logistics to own cross-functional operations and technology projects expanding sub-same-day delivery.

The role requires extensive project management, familiarity with MHE/automation, and collaboration with Maintenance, Design, and Innovation Engineering teams. Travel is expected during peak periods, with the R2L team based in Seattle, Nashville, and Bellevue to scale network performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly managing large projects.
• 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• 3+ years in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage high visibility automation programs quality, capacity, and future design innovations.
• Work cross functionally with Reliability Maintenance, Design, and Innovation Engineering teams.
• Execute key deliverable timelines for Engineering programs and meet operational goals.
• Dive Deep into dashboards, automation logs, and resources for problem solving.
• Drive weekly quality and capacity of Material Handling Equipment in the network.
