Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an Ophthalmology Sr. CRA to monitor clinical trial sites along the East Coast. You will oversee all site activities, ensure protocol adherence, and maintain high data quality in a fast-paced research environment.

The role requires 5+ years of clinical monitoring experience, oncology exposure, and 30–50% overnight travel. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support project delivery while ensuring participant safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• Oncology experience, early phase preferred.
• University or college degree, or related allied health certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ophthalmology trial sites including initiation and close-out visits and data collection.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and SAE reporting according to protocol.
• Coordinate with vendors and data management systems.
• Train new staff and support local project coordination.
• Travel 30–50% overnight to sites as required.
