Job summary

Medtronic Danvers seeks a Senior Operational Excellence Manager to shape the future of manufacturing excellence. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, partner with site leaders, and translate strategy into actionable improvements across extrusion and braiding processes.

The role demands Lean Six Sigma mastery, change leadership, and the ability to drive long‑term competitive advantages while building a culture of problem solving on site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years in operations, plant manufacturing or engineering, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Strong background in holistic operational excellence structures (TPM, VSM, BPM, DBS, TPS) and related tools/techniques.
• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
• Experience building strategic roadmaps.
• Ability to influence others.
• Solid change management, coaching and mentoring experience.
• Project management skills with time management and relationship skills.
• Experience establishing Voice of Operations/Voice of Customer in PDP processes.
• Proven knowledge of integrating quality and continuous improvement culture changes.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and sustains process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma methodologies.
• Defines, designs and implements continuous improvement programs across the organization.
• Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies.
• Analyzes improvement programs and potential results.
• Facilitates and coaches improvement teams.
• Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success.
• Installs process excellence supports for governance, reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards.
