Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Operations Management for our Salt Lake City, UT facility. The role oversees both support and professional staff on the 2nd shift, with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off.

Responsibilities include meeting production and quality goals, coaching staff, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years related experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 8+ years related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and cultural change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support frontline employees during swing shift operations.
• Keep the team on track to meet production schedules and quality goals.
• Track KPIs, communicate performance results and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor workflow, allocate resources, and resolve daily issues.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development support to team members.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety requirements, and ISO 9001.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address issues and improve performance.
• Support onboarding, training, and employee engagement.
• Promote a positive team environment built on accountability and teamwork.
