Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced construction, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, repair, and maintenance across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.
• Diagnose complex issues, isolate faults, and verify system performance using engineering documentation and advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct calibration, alignment, and functional checks; document results in prescribed formats.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to lower-level technicians on tasks and technical approaches.
• Recommend solutions to technical issues, applying judgment and initiative to resolve complex challenges.
