Job summary

Joint Activities at USSOUTHCOM Headquarters in the Miami area seeks a senior executive advisor to the J3 Chief of Staff, providing high‑level analytical, strategic, and operational integration support across the Directorate.

You will coordinate internal tasking via ETMS2, perform complex manpower, force-structure, and workforce analyses, and brief senior leaders on readiness and staffing trends to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience as senior advisor to a J3 or equivalent operational directorate.
• Experience conducting manpower, force-structure, and workforce analyses.
• Experience interpreting DoD/JCS/USSOUTHCOM policies and procedures.
• Experience advising senior leadership on workforce planning and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level analytical and strategic support to the J3 Chief of Staff.
• Coordinate internal command taskings and Joint Staff actions via ETMS2.
• Develop workforce dashboards and reporting tools to identify readiness risks.
• Advise on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance initiatives.
