Job summary

DCSA, through its Human Capital Management Office, is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to design and adapt mathematical and statistical methods for workforce analytics and data-driven decision making. You will work across agency functions to develop strategies and initiatives for researching complex data outcomes and outputs.

You will analyze HR trends, perform data mining, and build data-driven reports and dashboards to support leadership with actionable insights for strategic workforce

Qualifications

• Degree in operations research or 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or related subjects; at least 3 semester hours in calculus.
• Transcript submission is required; without it you may be ineligible.
• Specialized experience in workforce analytics, ad-hoc analyses, and analytics reporting.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply industry best practices and new analytical techniques to address business needs.
• Analyze HR trends and provide insights to leadership across multiple departments.
• Perform data mining and statistical analyses to identify trends and optimize performance.
• Develop quantitative and qualitative analytic methods for large HR datasets.
• Create analytics tools and dashboards to support decision makers.
• Present workforce analytics data with clear visualizations to stakeholders.
